This family is NUTS!!

For Angel's birthday he chose the Cicada Club in Downtown LA. It's a themed 20's, 30's and 40's style club on Sunday nights with a live band and sweet dance floor. So we all got dressed up and hit the town! SO MUCH FUN!! Dinner and drinks were a little pricey, but it was worth it for the atmosphere alone :) They even have a live webcast, and caught us dancing to a couple of the songs! Check it out

Phantom, 8th row

I took Angel to see Phantom of the Opera at the Pantages theater in Hollywood. We had great seats, and could actually see the expressions on the performers' faces :) Happy Birthday Baby! Pics coming soon..

The Grotto

Found this place in a hiking book at the Library! It's amazing what lies deep within the Santa Monica mountain range... subterranean underground streams, caves, boulders the size of houses.. This was one of the coolest areas we've found yet, but in the midst of winter it's a COLD hike. I'd like to return later in the spring when there's more water in the stream and it's warm enough to touch the water!

Good bye 2008!!

Beth and Danny hosted at their AMAZING house in Corona. It was like Chuck E Cheese for adults :). We played pool, sang karaoke on their giant screen, played guitar hero, and there were all types of other games and video games that I didn't even get to.. I'm so glad that I was able to celebrate with all of my best pals.. and Angel of course! We all slept over, spreading sleeping bags and blankets all over their upstairs rooms. Whew! What a night :)
