Oktoberfest

I didn't drink this year, but this place is always a blast. You can NEVER get enough of the Chicken Dance and shouting Oi Oi Oi when people drink. This was a first for Emily, Mariko and Stacey and i'm proud to say they've been broken in properly. :) Til next year!!!

Army of Women

Christine sent this over to me... Her mother is an amazing woman who has thus far beaten breast cancer. Thank you Tine for always keeping us aware. I signed up to take part in these studies and I want to encourage the same from all of my girls. I just learned today of a friend of mine who has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. She is younger than any of my friends' parents which breaks my heart.

It’s Easy to Join the Army of Women:

Step 1: Register as a volunteer with the Love/Avon Army of Women. By registering, you are indicating your interest in learning about active research studies in need of volunteers.

Step 2: You will receive email updates from the Love/Avon Army of Women announcing new research studies looking for volunteers just like you. I LOVE my job!

We've been working on this project as a team for a couple of months now, and it's finally live and looking beautiful! Some of you know about the Conference that my company puts on every September for photographers. It's called Partner Conference and this year was absolutely amazing. It consumed my life for about 3 weeks straight and was a complete success.

My job during the conference was to get video of every one of our speakers (27 total) with our awesome videographer Ron Dawson of Cinematic Studios. We asked them each to tell us briefly about their presentation and lead into the podcast interview we would later conduct. Sooooooo..... today we posted the first episode of the series on our blog - video, audio interview and link to subscribe in itunes, plus the Ask & Learn session on our Forums to take place the following day.



This was a huge undertaking and I'm proud to say that we did it! I absolutely love the people i work with, Kelly, Scott, Ward and Sara. Anyways, check out the blogpost and if you're interested the podcast this week is with Gene Higa : Creating a Niche Market. Mostly photography stuff, but interesting to me :)

Angel and I went to Haunt at Knott's on Sunday night and had THE best time :). Right as we walked in, the haunt photographers were trying to get us to pose with a monster, but Henry runs up screaming "that's my best friend, that's my best friend!" and i started jumping up and down like a 4 year old. awesome.

Henry and Liza are monsters there in Ghost Town where they roam around scaring the crap out of people (or making fun of their shoes in Henry's case). I followed them around with my camera for a while and caught them in action. This year is definitely the best yet, the mazes rock (especially the 3D clown one for some reason) and the street monsters are really on top of their game.

Jury Duty

This is what I stared at for 3 hours today. They could have settled this without having 40 potential jurors hang around for 2 days. There has got to be a better system.

Mariko, Stacey, Amanda, Matt & I took off to Arrowhead Lake this weekend for a little time away. We had the BEST time! The camp manager told us about a cool swimming spot where we could jump from rocks into a pool of (freezing) water in a creek. It was HOT up there, so the water was really soothing. We played games including Uno, Yahtzee, duck duck goose, mother may i?, red light green light and a game of catch. Yea, we actually made friends with the 3 year old and her dad in the next campsite. Goooooood times! Can't wait to go again guys :) Who wants to join us in Joshua Tree?????

i complied with their requests, but also hacked into their email account which angered them deeply.

I recieved a photo of bear being held at gunpoint by the power ranger.


I found the power ranger and held him captive with torture techniques for hours, but then released him.

The last communication is a picture of bloody arms that look suspiciously like Bear's. i don't know what to do....

Bear is missing

i just received a cryptic email from "Bear Killer" with instructions on what to do in order to get bear back safely. They attached the above photo so i know bear is still alive. I am afraid for his life, so i will have to comply with the demands.
