I've been wanting to check out this spot on the hill in El Segundo for a LONG time now. There were some hardcore planespotters up there talking technical about the airliners and taking photos with their telefoto lenses. I didn't really fit in, but i snapped a few shots anyways. Now i'm officially in the nerdy plane lover club.

the brewery

This place used to be a real working brewerey that has been transformed into living and studio space for local artists. Thanks Mike for inviting Stacey and I! twice a year the artists here open up their studios and show off their stuff :) i took home this sweet piece by Kaleb Higgins.. Just a 17 year old kid! He paints on records & skateboard decks. Lots of other extraordinary artists too : Dave Lefner - (block printing) and Kevin Flint (sculptor, painter) probably the most impressive.

did we go to The Hop last night? Ian and I danced as if.... we actually knew how to dance. who knew that bars hired dance photographers to set up backgrounds and take pictures of the drunkards? and who would have thought that becky would think a polaroid was worth $10?!? (it kinda was)

We had such a blast. i was hungover from drinking too much the night before, but i powered through :) Limos are fun, SUVs and towncars are more fun. the drive through 50 feet away from the hotel room is super fun. Hanging with a bunch of girls.. just pure awesomeness

Blue 32 in Hermosa Beach. David Jay and Kevin Swan teamed up to throw this rockin party after our Partner Conference. They set up a 'kissing booth' where we could take all of the ridiculous pictures our little hearts desired. If you feel the urge, the slideshow is kinda fun too

Christine & Ryan Sato - 09/08/07

What a beautiful day.. Tine and Rhino have been dating for about nine years, so we know it's gonna last forever. Christine is my friend that goes back the farthest - PREschool to be exact. She swears she remembers me hiding behind my mom in a carebear swimsuit.
I danced all day with her 2 year old nephew, Connor. Reallllly took advantage of the free champagne at the head table. So much fun :) Congrats guys!!

Labor Day Hampton's 'White Party'

Mike's place in Manhattan Beach. Stacey and i did our best to ignore the drunk guys across the table, but sometimes you just have to humor yourself and engage the rowdy ones in meaningful conversation... We're lucky we made it out of there in one piece.
on a side note, it's fun for 2 people to wander through Ralph's wearing nothing but white and purchasing white alcohol.
